Heidi’s professional journey is complemented by a rich personal life rooted in the rugged beauty of Alaska. An avid outdoorswoman, she finds solace and inspiration in fishing the pristine waters of the Kenai River and the Gulf of Alaska, as well as hunting moose in the Alaskan wilderness. She also enjoys tending to her greenhouse, cultivating a variety of plants and vegetables suited to Alaska’s challenging climate. Her love for the outdoors extends to hiking and exploring new trails, as well as sustainable hunting and foraging, which reflect her deep respect for nature and ethical engagement with the land.

Before trading her motorcycle for other pursuits, Heidi was an enthusiastic motorcyclist, logging over 100,000 miles across the scenic byways of the United States. Her appreciation for the American West was further deepened during her time living in Colorado and Montana, where she immersed herself in the natural splendor of the rugged mountains and vast plains. Additionally, her service in the Army Reserves has instilled in her a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and dedication, qualities that she brings to her work every day.
